enrichment toy recommendations

While there are dozens of toys I love for dogs... the one that stands above the rest, for high energy dogs, is the flirt pole.

The flirt pole allows high energy dogs to get a ton of energy out, in a very short amount of time, even in small spaces... which makes it useful for most healthy dogs!  It allows them an outlet for their natural instinct to chase & bite, which is very fulfilling for many dogs.

Using a snuffle mat is often a very calming activity for dogs. Sniffing & foraging are natural instincts for dogs & providing them with this opportunity is a wonderful form of enrichment! You can use any type of dry food for this activity.

The snuffle mat linked below is my favourite.  It's easy to fill quickly & you can adjust the level of difficulty by adjusting the tightness.

the toppl is a food enrichment toy that you can stuff with a variety of foods & freeze, which extends feeding time, giving the pet parent a moment to breathe in a busy day & gives the dog some mental enrichment.

if your dog is a power chewer, these are hands down the best bang for your buck. One cheek roll lasts hours for my dogs!
